For close to a year, I have been taking Sabine Wilms' Classical Chinese classes, which have surpassed my expectations. These classes were engaging, thought provoking, and incredibly fun! Dr. Wilms was very selective in choosing her initial cohort, which has been a great benefit, as we all have had the opportunity to grow and learn from one another given our individual unique backgrounds and experiences.

Aside from my medical practice which has benefited from a solid understanding and ability to read the classics from which I draw inspiration, my work as a professional translator requires that my understanding of how to convey these passages into English is solid. It is for this reason that I decided to take these classes and jump into the fire. Sabine's classes have ensured that I continue to learn how to engage with and translate this material properly, and there are few in the Western world, in my opinion, who are as qualified to teach this material as Dr. Wilms is.
